1. Hawaii until I was about six.

2. Montperlier, Ohio for a few months while my father was locating a house in #4.

3. Altoona, Pennsylvania for about 4 1/2 years (through 4th grade).

4. Virginia Beach, VA for 2 years.

5. Germantown, Maryland for six years (through high school).

6. The dorm at Virginia Commonwealth University for my freshman year.

7. Richmond, Virginia in a shared home with college friends through my junior year.

8. Richmond, Virginia in my first apartment — first time living alone — through what would’ve been my senior year had I continued.

9. Tyson’s Corner, Virginia for a few months (please don’t ask why!).

10. McLean, Virginia for a year with a houseful of friends while I did an apprenticeship.

11. My aunt’s couch in Cheverly, Maryland for a few months after I sprained/dislocated my elbow before my health insurance kicked in with my new job.

12. Richmond, Virginia (again) with some good friends of mine from college.

13. Moved in with dh (we married in 1997). We’ll be here a bit longer, but hope to move within the next year!
